Answer all telephone lines in a friendly, courteous and efficient manner; assist callers by transferring all calls to the appropriate extension; and provide any additional information requested by the caller.
Duties include, but not limited to:
Being knowledgeable of and provide information regarding hotel facilities, hours of operation, key personnel, special activities and functions of the resort as requested.
Providing directions to the resort from any location as requested.
Handling all telephone calls and ensuring that prompt, courteous service is provided.
Being familiar with all departments and with key associates in each department in order to handle calls efficiently.
Utilizing the computer system in retrieving, updating, and inputting guest information.
Answering the telephones professionally and courteously, including transferring and routing misdirected calls and taking messages.
Shifts can vary, but normally 8/9am to 5/6pm, must have weekend availability.
All Welk Resort positions require a pre-employment drug screen.
