To process documents with new owners of Time Share Property and have a working knowledge of the legal documents associated with the purchase of Time Share Property. The Closing Officer (CO) clarifies questions from new owners and addresses any concerns while solidifying the sale during the closing process.
Include the following, and other duties may be assigned.
Perform daily closing/deeding transactions
Keep their own records of their Closing % and number of deals they have on a month to month basis
Invite new Owners to breakfast the following day and make transportation arrangements for Owners that do not have means of transportation
Contact Owners and have further communication for all of their needs during and after the rescission period
Keep monthly records of all Owners that were contacted for stats purposes
Attend daily breakfast to answer any further question from Owners and continue solidifying the sale.

Weekly meeting with Director of Deeding
Other duties may be assigned.
Continues contact with the new owners who did not pay a full 10% down on their Time Share purchase until the full down payment has been made and the account is good. The CO sometimes has to assist owners with new financial arrangements to reach this goal and negotiate getting the most money possible for each payment.
Attempts to save new accounts in which the owner expresses a desire to rescind the contract, often rewriting a new purchase offer and following through until new documents have been completed either at the resort or through the mail.
Assists owners with the corporate name change department as additional paperwork and procedures are necessary after the closing in order that owners may add or change names or place their purchase in a trust or company name.

Education And/Or
Experience:
One year certificate form college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
A minimum of one year as a Sales Representative at Westgate Resorts with a good closing percentage.
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions form groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interests, commissions, proportions, percentages, area circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Abilities:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram from and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Time Share Real Estate License and/or Escrow License. Notary Public License.
